Day 01

Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and Transfer to Hotel

Day 02

Day 03

Drive Kathmandu to Kerung (178 km, 8 to 9 hr)

You will have a scenic drive through Langtang national park of Nepal. Although, you are required to deal in number of  check post in the park. Overnight at Kerung.

Day 04:

Acclimatization at Kerung

We spend a day at Kerung to help with acclimatization because we gain considerable height [Ktm (1400m)- Kerung (2900 m)]. There are many short walks possible in the area for acclimatization like; optional hike around Kerung area.

Day 05

Drive from Kerung to Saga (4450m, 232km)

Appreciate the perspective of snow topped mountains and cross the high pass of Lalung La Pass (5050m) where a superb perspective of high Himalayas can be seen for example; Gaurishanker, Shishapangma, and Langtang Himal. Drive past the big Peiku Tso Lake and cross the Brahmaputra River to reach to Saga. Overnight stay at Saga.

Day 06

Saga to Mansarovar (4560m, 6 to 7 hrs)

Viewing the mountains in separation you will drive through dusty highway through the residential area of Zhongba before coming to Paryang. Day 07

Day 08

Day 09

 Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk (4810m)

The hardest and most essential day of the trip. Cross high Dolma-la pass (5670 m) and slide to Gauri Kunda and further trek alongside the waterway to Zuthulpuk, overnight at Tent/Camp.

Day 10

Zuthulpuk to Darchen (4675m, drive 5 km)

After trekking around 6 km, you will come to the point – drive to the Darchen. You will complete the trek around 12 noon. Resting or overnight at local lodging place.

Day 11

Darchen to Saga (450 km) via lake Mansarovar

Time to returning back by giving the last look at this sacred place. After early breakfast, drive to Saga and overnight in Saga at Guest House.

Day 12

From Saga drive back to Kerung

After early breakfast, you will drive to Kerung – light lunch on the way. You will leave a famous roof of the world Tibetan Plateau and descend down through the Himalaya and reach the China/Nepal border at Kerung. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 13

Drive Kerung to Kathmandu

We will clear our border customs formalities in the Kerung before proceed to Kathmandu (KTM). Overnight at Kathmandu.

Departure
