Nagarkot Hiking – Detail Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival at Kathmandu (1400 m)

When your arrival in Kathmandu, our office representative staff will be welcomed you at the airport then he takes you to the hotel by our office vehicle. In the Hotel, offer you welcome drinks. In the evening our staff will be brief about whole tour program.

Day 02

Kathmandu sightseeing (4-5 hr)

Day 03

Nagarkot Hiking – Drive to Panauti (1 hr drive) / Hike to Dhulikhel (1550 m, 6 hr)

Day 04

Nagarkot Hiking – Dhulikhel to Nagaarkot (2200 m, 5 hr)

After the breakfast, you will hike up to the Kasi vanjyang. A small valley with a small traditional house made up of mud. Where you can stop for the lunch. After the day meal, you will hike to Nagarkot (2200 m the highest point of hiking trail) where you spend the night. The scenic spots, which is renowned for its spectacular view of the sunrise on the Himalayas. Which offers even closer views. The peaks on view stretch from Langtang Lirung (7246 m) in the east, through Dorje lakpa (6966 m) to the huge bulk of Gauri Shankar (7145 m) and nearby Melungtse (7181 m) and as far as Numbur (5945 m) in the east.

Day 05

Nagarkot Hiking – Nagaarkot to Changu Narayan (1500, 4 hr) and Drive back to Kathmandu (30 min)

Today you will leisurely be walking up through the pine forest to Tilkot, and hike to Changu Narayan (1541 m). The oldest temple of the valley built in the 5th century which is surrounded by champak tree. It is 8 miles east of Kathmandu. Here as well as you stop for the lunch. After having your meal, you will drive back to Kathmandu only for 30 min which enables you to experience the different way and overnight stay at Hotel.
